 | Dennis Draeger Chief of Tax Collections Dennis Draeger was appointed Chief of Tax Collections for the Treasurer-Tax Collector/Public Administrator’s Office in 1998. As the Chief of Tax Collections, Mr. Draeger is responsible for the collection and accounting of property taxes for homeowners, business owners and all taxing entities. He is also responsible for the sale of tax-defaulted properties.
Mr. Draeger previously worked for the San Bernardino County Assessor’s Office as Chief Appraiser where he attained an Advanced Appraisal Certificate from the State Board of Equalization. Mr. Draeger served as President of the Society of Governmental Appraisers for two terms and was the Pass Area Representative to Southern California Association of Governments.
Dennis is a graduate of California State University, San Bernardino with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration.
Mr. Draeger is very involved in his community and is currently a Planning Commissioner for the City of Calimesa. He was a founding member of the Calimesa Incorporation Committee. For six years he was a Council Member for the City of Calimesa and Mayor for the City of Calimesa for two years. Mr. Draeger was a volunteer for the Calimesa Fire Department for fifteen years and a member of the Riverside County CSA 74 Parks and Recreation for eight years. Dennis was the PTA Auditor for Yucaipa/Calimesa and a member of East Valley United Way for four years. | | |
